Christyn Jaap, MA, LPC

Owner & Therapist

Christy specializes in working with teenagers and their families and adults, specifically those who have experienced trauma in life.  She uses a compassionate, client-centered approach to help her clients build confidence, break free and heal from trauma, and develop the tools they need to thrive in life.

Christy’s heart is geared towards girls and women who have survived trauma in life, as she helps her clients heal and find their identity in who they are to be able to have and hold healthy relationships in life.

Kim Reynolds, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist – Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor

Dr. Kim Reynolds holds a PhD in Child Development and Education.  She has extensive training and experience with children, tweens, and adolescents.  She specializes in helping people navigate Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, parenting issues, trauma, and relationship issues. 

Dr. Kim integrates play therapy, sandtray therapy, and emotionally focused couples therapy, and various evidence-based techniques to support her clients in their journey towards meaningful change in life.

Shelly Richardson, MS, LPC, LSP

Shelly has a passion for helping individuals, specifically children and adolescents, facing anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders.  She brings significant experience in the education system as a  School Psychologist with numerous years of experience working with children & adolescents with Autism and their families to build system of support in the home environment, especially in the school environment.  She has a deep desire to support her clients achieve their goals towards a healthy future.

Kurt Bannert, MA, LPC-S

Kurt has a deep passion for helping teenagers navigate behavioral challenges, trauma, grief, and mood disorders.  He uses a client-centered approach that focuses on the unique needs of his clients to help them heal from difficult or traumatic experiences and build the healthy, lasting change throughout life.

He brings unique experience by delivering international tele-therapy services to Third-Culture Kids (TCKs) and expatriates in numerous countries around the world.

Ericka’s heart centers on guiding her clients through life’s challenges, as she works with clients in all stages of life; however, she is passionate working with teenagers and young adults, as she has experience in schools.  She believes in fostering a safe space where her clients feel heard and valued, allowing them identify their unique strengths, set goals for themselves, and create meaningful change.

She has a passion for walking alongside those in ministry households, as she has been in volunteer ministry, understanding the unique pressures they face and providing support with grace and empathy.

Chloe Wright, MA, LPC Associate

Chloe bridges the worlds of education, the fine arts, and military life to bring a whole view to her clinical practice. Dedicated to helping youth and adults move from surviving to thriving, she empowers her clients through complicated grief, trauma, loss, relocation, and other changes in life circumstances. Chloe’s counseling experience serving survivors of trafficking and domestic violence contributes to her compassionate advocacy work.

Five years mentoring with three national military family programs and fifteen years of fine arts collaboration informs her use of evidence-based modalities for clients cultivating resilience, personal agency, and enduring growth.

Jeannie Weaver

Jeannie is a counseling intern completing her master’s degree. With significant experience in education and leadership roles, Jeannie brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to counseling.  She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experience and move toward healing and growth.

Her work with Celebrate Recovery and Recovery Alive has deepened her passion for walking alongside individuals in their recovery and wellness journeys.
